Business Development Partner

All right, so what’s the job?


As a Business Development Partner, you will be the first point of contact for our potential customers and partners. You will also play a key role in developing our service offerings. Specifically, here’s what your tasks will look like:


  • Act as the main point of contact for new customers and prospects.
  • Conceptualize and present customized service offerings, RFP responses and pitches for customers, aligned with Republik’s values and impact objectives.
  • Collaborate with account services, strategy and creative teams to develop tailored, captivating and concrete proposals for potential projects.
  • Develop clear and comprehensive handover briefs once the mandate is received to help clarify goals and expected outcomes.
  • Create submission delivery schedules and anticipate the number of hours required for each resource.
  • Follow up regularly with potential customers to establish a foundation of trust prior to the signing of the mandate, and to anticipate their needs and expectations.
  • Monitor the calendar of business leads and update the CRM tool.
  • Identify and implement new customer acquisition strategies.
  • Actively participate in the optimization of our sales tools and processes to streamline customer interactions and improve the customer experience.


What kind of background is required?


We know you don’t have to check all the boxes to apply, but we think the following traits are important for this role:


  • At least three years’ experience in business development, in an agency, media or similar position.
  • A natural ability to connect with others and listen, as well as a strategic focus on the customer experience.
  • A high level of autonomy and the ability to work under pressure while respecting deadlines.
  • Excellent project management and organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • A passion for social impact and alignment with Republik’s values.
  • Excellent command of French and English, both spoken and written.
