Republik is looking for a full-time copywriter who understands the new features of all social platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, YouTube, etc.), has impeccable written and spoken French, and a good knowledge of written English. The content editor should know how to interact on social platforms by taking into account the tone and messaging of a brand/client. This person should also have data analysis skills and an interest in the paid media component of social media.

Alright, so what's the job?

The job is to change the world through the Creation of Social Capital™. But if you want us to be more precise, here's a list of tasks you'll have to do in your day-to-day:

  • Create and review short captions for client content and the agency's platforms.
  • Develop community management strategies for our clients’ social media.
  • Develop content ideas, concepts and strategies in collaboration with the creative and strategy team.
  • Develop content schedules for various clients.
  • Analyze content performance in order to bring out relevant insights.
  • Manage our communities and organically grow them.
  • Ensure the performance of the published content.

What kind of background are you looking for?

Honestly, we don't think it's a good thing to have a too-long list of criteria. So let's just say these are some of the traits we think might help you do your job well:


  • Minimum of two years experience in a similar position with an agency, on the client side, in a relevant media, or on a personal project.
  • Relevant academic education in communication, journalism, or marketing.
  • Completely bilingual (fluent in both English and French).
  • Great understanding of social media, good organizational skills, excellent time management, and a developed sense of priorities.
  • Creative, open-minded, curious, committed, autonomous, and versatile.
  • Experience working with diverse social platforms.
