Republik is looking for an account manager who wants to work for brands that take concrete action for the environment and society. The person we are looking for, in addition to being called upon to coordinate large-scale projects for various clients, will also monitor internal processes, from brief to client presentation.
Alright, so what's the job?
The job is to change the world through the Creation of Social Capital™. But if you want us to be more precise, here's a list of tasks you'll have to do in your day-to-day:
- Responsible for project management, setting up meetings & deadlines, assigning tasks to the right internal resources ;
- Identification of relevant external resources and monitoring of internal processes ;
- Advise and coordinate from the brief to the final client presentation ;
- Responsible for the day-to-day management of your clients and the profitability of the account while ensuring a healthy relationship with your clients ;
- Also participate in brainstorms to assist the strategy, creation and production teams ;
- Together with the account director you will participate in the development and improvement of the processes and tools of your department.
What kind of background are you looking for?
Honestly, we don't think it's a good thing to have a too-long list of criteria. So let's just say these are some of the traits we think might help you do your job well:
- Minimum of 3 to 5 years experience in a similar position in an agency, on the client side, in a relevant media, or on a personal project ;
- Relevant university training in marketing or communications ;
- Ability to manage pressure, prioritize, and work according to tight deadlines ;
- Strong analytical skills, ability to understand budgets and advise clients according to their needs ;
- People, leadership, and listening skills, as well as strong aptitudes for approaching customers and partner ;
- Great team spirit and collaboration, ability to adapt, resourcefulness and autonomy ;
- High-level proficiency of both spoken and written French and English.
