Ukrainian invasion: Should brands take a stand in times of war?
With a new campaign created in collaboration with Montreal-based agency Republik, global professional engineering services firm WSP Global Inc. has announced ambitious climate action through a commitment to achieve net zero emissions across its value chain by 2040.
As the leading global environmental consulting firm, WSP has set science-based greenhouse (GHG) emissions reduction targets approved by the Science Based Targets initiative, which aims to encourage climate action in the private sector by helping organizations to set GHG emissions reduction targets that are backed by scientific research.
“Our team is proud of this campaign because we were able to apply our Creating Social Capital methodology and work with WSP to put in place tangible measures that will build momentum around the shift to a decarbonized economy on a global scale.” - Jean-Philippe Shoiry, Chief Strategy Officer and Partner, Republik
Republik worked closely with WSP to identify a strategy that would allow the organization to explain and share its commitment in a purposeful way and then translate it into impactful creative work. “Get ready for less” gives WSP a platform from which to communicate the solutions that will shape the communities of tomorrow.
